Until recently Michael was in charge of the Company section but due to family commitments he has stepped down from that position. He is still an officer of the Company and comes along when he can.
Charlie Philip
Rank: Chaplin
The Chaplin is the link between a Boys' Brigade Company and it's church. Charlie is a Youth and Family Worker for the Basingstoke Methodist Circuit and is also a local Preacher. Margaret Lock-Wheaton is our Minister as well as the Superintendant Minister for the Basingstoke Methodist Circuit and also Minister for Trinity Church in Basingstoke. Charlie is able to devote more time to BB and was nominated by Margaret to be our Chaplin. He is an enthusiastic and positive supporter of our company and is often present on our Friday evening meetings not only to lead prayers and provide spiritual advice but to join in the fun as well!
* Note: The President's Badge that most of the Leaders have successfully achieved followed a different scheme to the current one detailed on our Company Section page and required a complete three level achievement in Leadership, Interests, Physical, Community and Adventure as described on our Older Badge Layouts page. Michael Payne completed an older President's Badge scheme as detailed on the Boys' Brigade Badge Schemes page.
