Ex Members of the 3rd
I am sure everyone who has good memories of their time as a member of 3rd Basingstoke Boys' Brigade Company has them primarily because of the good friends they made with us. Sadly we don't always keep in touch and years later we might wonder whatever happened to our old friends?
Thats what this page is for.
Perhaps you would like to get in touch with somebody who used to be a member of the company? Maybe you've just looked through our Public Photo Gallery or read through the History of 3rd Basingstoke Boys' Brigade Company and have something to add, a comment to make or maybe you would just like to reminisce with others about the good old days.
Please send us a message using the Ex Members Contact Form below and we will answer your query as quickly as possible or post your comments on this page for other Ex Members to read and reply to. We also have a Guestbook which may have comments from Ex Members as well as messages from general visitors to our website.
Maybe we can help some old friends get reacquainted. If there is enough interest there is the possibility of an Official Reunion Event at some point in the future.
Ex members are always welcome to drop into St Andrews' Church on a Friday evening where you can catch up with any of the Leaders who are there. Check the Calendar for details.
Becoming a Website Member
It is also our intention that when the Members Section of this website is complete and functional that Ex Members will be able to join and access features such as creating your own Profile and Blog, viewing other Ex Members and Leaders profiles/blogs, Messaging, Photo Galleries and more!

Wow what memories i have jolted after seeing some of those old pictures!!! I was only there for a short time before moving to Somerset but no doubt Sid will remember my older brothers Adam and Jason. Even my sister Ceri was in the GB in even earlier days. It was good to remember some of the names and faces from back then, and even though i left just before my 13th birthday i still miss and have fond memories of the time there.
Doubt you remember me Michael Holley but we also went to Kings Furlong although i was the year above you, as well as being in the junior and company section together. My time there stood me well, especially the gym display and band (even though i was an awful bell lyre player) as i later went on to help form a Sea Cadet band in 1984 and become a Physical Training Instructor in the army (where i still serve). Im now living in Wales (Cardiff) and spend many of my days in the Brecon Beacons.

Hello Phil and guys,
Barry told me that the website had had a make-over and very impressive it is too.
Glad to see the old Photos (or not so glad in some cases, Yep I've put on weight!)
Have fun and I will try and get up to St Andrews again soon.
