This Privacy Policy covers the public use of this website and will be substantially updated when the Members Section become available for use.
Our Privacy Priority
Our highest priority is the protection and privacy of our current Boys' Brigade members. Names and personal details will never be published on our public website. Every effort will be made to protect these details within our Secure Members Section when it becomes available for use.
The protection offered by this policy will remain in place even after your child has become an adult at the age of 18 - unless they choose to become a Leader within the Company at which time we require this information to be made public for the safety and protection of current members.
Photographs
In accordance with our Privacy Priority we will never make individual photographs of our current members publicly available on this website. However we will include photographs with a group of two or more current boys visible in the frame. Names are always excluded from captions and descriptions of Group photographs. Parents or Guardians may choose to exclude their child from all group photographs by supplying Leaders with written confirmation explicitly stating as such.
Photographs of Ex-Members within our Public Photo Gallery also comply with the above policy on group and individual shots including the absence of names. However, an exception to this is Leaders past and present who are shown and named in individual and group photographs respectively.
Personal Details
The only personal details which we will collect from you are the details that YOU supply to us using one of our Contact Forms. We only require your email address in order to reply to your query. We will never send unsolicited spam to your email address. We may email Ex-Members of 3rd Basingstoke Boys' Brigade Company in the event of another Ex-Member leaving a message for you and/or wishing to contact you, or with important website updates, for example when the Members Section Functions become available for use.
We will never share your personal details with a third party outside of 3rd Basingstoke Boys' Brigade Company.
Cookies
This website does not currently use Cookies in any way to track visitors. This is subject to change and Cookies may be implemented when the Members Section Functions becomes fully operational. This policy will be updated to include all relevant changes with full explanations.
Tracked Information
Every visitor to this website is logged and tracked by our web server software, recording which pages have been visited. No personal details are captured during this process, only your registered Domain Name and this information cannot be linked to an individual. The information is only used to count the number of visitors to our website and which pages are most popular.
